Village Creek State Park lies on the northern outskirts of Beaumont, Texas. The park is bordered to the north by it namesake, Village Creek. Village Creek feeds into the Neches River and the Big Thicket National Preserve a few thousand feet to the east.
One of the highlights of the park is the 21 mile paddling trail. Prized for the flat waters, the creek system runs through some tranquil timbers.
